Researching the tower garden leafy greens

We would like to learn more about what we are growing in our tower garden.

You will research one of the following leafy greens that we are growing:

1. Bok Choy
2. Rainbow Chard
3. Gourmet Lettuce
4. Bibb Lettuce
5. Sweet Basil
6. Arugula

Find the answers to these questions:

- Description
- Nutritional information
- Uses as a food, recipes, etc.

Create a 8 1/2 x 11 informational poster using pages. Just like the ingredient cards, include the following:

- Title
- Picture(s) or graphic(s)
- Source of your information

If you finish, you may do the following:

Make a thank you card for people who donated to the tower garden fundraiser.  Many friends and family donated to help make this happen. Instead of addressing the cards to specific people, we will just do a general thank you. 

You may design your card digitally or by hand. If designing digitally, you can use a card template in pages. You can use photos from here on the blog, see "tower garden setup" blog entry below.

Make it beautiful and express your heartfelt thanks to those who have helped allow us to pursue this awesome project!

Here's an example of what you can write on your card:

Thank you for donating to our fundraiser for our tower garden project. We have assembled the tower and our seeds are beginning to germinate! Thank you for contributing to our very exciting learning experience!
